Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes. You can create and download as many invoices as you like, with no account, no watermark, and no limit on line items.
Do you store the invoices I create?
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser and the PDF is built on your device. Your draft is saved to your browser's local storage so you don't lose it on refresh — it is never sent to us.
Can I add my company logo?
Yes. Click the logo box at the top of the invoice and pick a PNG, JPG, or WebP file. It is embedded straight into the PDF.
How is tax calculated?
A discount comes off the subtotal first, tax is then charged on the discounted amount, and shipping is added last so it is never taxed. You can charge tax as a percentage or as a flat amount.
Can I change how the PDF looks?
Yes. Pick between two layouts under “PDF theme”: Classic is a clean sheet set in Helvetica that is light on ink, and Framed wraps the page in a navy border with your business name set large across the top in Geist. The invoice content is identical either way.
Can I use this for quotes or estimates instead?
Yes. Every label on the invoice is editable — click the word "INVOICE" at the top and change it to Quote, Estimate, or Receipt, and rename the other fields to suit.
