Feed pipe let go under the kitchen. Someone picked up on the second ring, told me exactly what the callout would cost, and was here in fifty minutes. The invoice matched the number he said on the phone.
They told me it wasn't an emergency and booked me in for the afternoon at the cheaper rate. Genuinely did not expect a plumber to talk me out of the expensive option.
Blocked main, sewage backing into the shower. Cleared it, then showed me the camera footage of the root that caused it and quoted the permanent fix for daylight hours.
