Is water moving right now?
Escaping, backing up, or coming through a ceiling. Answer honestly — the cheaper option is the right one more often than you'd think.
Callout is $89 either way. Covers travel and the first 30 minutes on site.
What we fix
Anything on this list, any hour. Everything else we'll book you in for daylight and charge you less for it.
Isolate, stop the loss, then repair. If you can reach your stopcock, turn it off before we arrive — it saves more than we can.
Hidden leaks traced with acoustic gear rather than by opening walls and hoping. Most are fixed in one visit.
Cleared, then camera-checked so you can see what caused it. If it's roots or a collapse, you get the footage.
Overflowing, blocked or running all night. A single working toilet is an emergency in a house with one bathroom.
No hot water, leaking tank, or a pressure valve that keeps blowing. Repaired first, replaced only when the numbers say so.
Planned work, quoted flat and booked in daylight. Cheaper than the same job at midnight, which is why we say so.
Pricing
Emergency plumbing is expensive because it is genuinely hard to staff at 3am. Hiding that behind 'call for a quote' just means you find out when you are least able to argue.
Travel plus the first 30 minutes on site. Charged once.
Billed in half-hour blocks, agreed before we continue.
Same callout, no emergency premium. Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm.
You see the invoice. No mystery markup on a $4 washer.
Quoted before we start, not after. If we can't fix it, there's no callout fee at all.
Where we go
We hold vans in four places overnight so nobody is starting from a depot across town.

Feed pipe let go under the kitchen. Someone picked up on the second ring, told me exactly what the callout would cost, and was here in fifty minutes. The invoice matched the number he said on the phone.
They told me it wasn't an emergency and booked me in for the afternoon at the cheaper rate. Genuinely did not expect a plumber to talk me out of the expensive option.
Blocked main, sewage backing into the shower. Cleared it, then showed me the camera footage of the root that caused it and quoted the permanent fix for daylight hours.
Turn it off at the stopcock if you can reach it, then call. If it can wait until morning we'll say so and book you in cheaper.
